TeePee Party and Camp Out in Arizona Is a Fun for Alledited by Nan Frient Everyone wins at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa on Saturday nights – with the TeePee Party and optional camp out, plus Glow-In-The-Dark Volleyball, all kicking off over Labor Day weekend.
Children can build their own teepees, create Native American artwork, enjoy a cook-out dinner and a s'mores marshmallow roast and stay overnight in the teepee. The Arizona Biltmore’s acres of grass lawns are ideal for these outdoor kids’ events. Parents and other adults, meanwhile, have the evening free to indulge in whichever of the many pleasures of the Biltmore they so choose, from a massage at the spa to cocktails on the patio of the Wright Bar with its panoramic mountain view to a gourmet dinner in Wright's at the Biltmore. While the TeePee Party is for children 5 to12 years old and the optional camp out just for children 7 to 12, the Arizona Biltmore will also launch a new activity for teens only over Labor Day weekend: Glow-In-The-Dark Volleyball. The volleyball game – with special glow-in-the-dark balls – will be set up on the Paradise Lawn every Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and teen guests can play until 8:00 p.m. The TeePee Party lasts from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and costs $50 per child. The TeePee Party with the camp out, which lasts through 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning, is $90 per child. Materials and equipment are provided including the arts and crafts supplies and the sleeping bags for the overnight. There is no charge for Glow-In-The-Dark Volleyball.
