Angela Wibking has been writing
about travel professionally since 1987 but her love affair with the open road started when
her parents piled her and her four siblings into a big blue station wagon for a
cross-country camping trip in the late 1960s.
Since then she has visited almost every state in the U.S., in addition to traveling to
England, Italy, France, Switzerland and the Caribbean on assignment for various
publications in the Southeast.
Her favorite destinations are those that allow her to explore her other chief
interests, the arts and history. Her favorite travel companion is her husband and her
favorite spot to come home to is their restored 1928 brick bungalow in Nashvilles
historic Belmont neighborhood.
